The aftermath of the 2013, Moore, Oklahoma tornado. I was given the opportunity to volunteer with a local church in clean-up efforts. The faith of the community and compassion of volunteers that came together was a an amazing experience. The volunteers came from all over the United States with trucks full of water, food, diapers, and many more items.

Death is not a subject many would approach with ease, but Sunderman took me through a day in his life and I was given insight into what lies at the core of a mortuary business. It was apparent that a strong faith-base and a good sense of humor was the common thread among a professional staff.

From the moment you walk in the door of the historic St. Peter building, you are made to feel at home.
